For this single-family home in suburban New Jersey, I delivered a modern, elevated interior transformation that balances clean lines, warm textures, and a refined contemporary aesthetic. All bathrooms were completely redesigned and rebuilt, introducing new layouts, materials, fixtures, and lighting to create calm, spa-inspired spaces. For the kitchen, the renovation was approached with both a tight budget and the severe cabinetry supply shortages during COVID, when new cabinet lead times often exceeded a year. To overcome these constraints, I strategically refinished the existing casework—selecting a sophisticated paint palette, upgrading all hardware with modern brass pulls, specifying new countertops, sinks, plumbing fixtures, and integrating new appliances. This method preserved the cabinetry structure while achieving a dramatically more current and cohesive look. As the interior designer, I oversaw concept development, material selection, construction administration, and final styling to bring the project’s vision to life despite challenging conditions.
